Our department is also experienced in treating rare pulmonary diseases like Interstitial Lung Disease, Pulmonary Hypertension and Infections in HIV infected individuals.

Due to sedentary lifestyle, an epidemic of obesity has engulfed us. Due to which sleep-related breathing disorders are on the rise. We have an exclusively advanced sleep laboratory to help diagnose it at an early stage.

At Vikram Hospital, pulmonology department headed by Dr. K S Satish, Senior Chest Specialist supported by Dr. Bhimasena Rao and Dr. Vasunethra Kasargod chest specialists. We run a busy outpatient department with excellent support staff. We do pulmonary function test and do Bronchoscopy, Sleep lab studies. We are supported by Advanced Radiology Imaging with X-ray and CT scan.We do counselling to patients with smoking habits/deaddiction.
