Dr. Tulip is a well known dynamic laparoscopic and bariatric surgeon who has completed her master’s in general surgery in the year 1996. in her pursuit of laparoscopy she completed her fellowship in minimally invasive surgery in the year 2005. quest for knowledge goes on, so Dr. Tulip started bariatric surgery in early 2006 under the able guidance of the renowned laparoscopic surgeon of international fame Dr. M. Ramesh and further went to the United States to replenish her skills in bariatric surgery under the able guidance of Dr. Sayeed Ikramuddin who heads a centre for excellence in bariatric surgery in the university of minnesotta. she has joined the vikram hospital, sagar hospital, and A.V. Hospital in bangalore and is associated with Dr M. Ramesh in the department of minimally invasive surgery and bariatric surgery. she also consults at bojju speciality obesity & cosmetic center.

her major endeavour is to reach out to the society and to inculcate the thought that “prevention of obesity is better than cure”. for those who have already crossed the boundary of obesity, she will be there with her dedicated care in the field of bariatric surgery.
