Liver diseases
1) Fatty Liver - A condition that occurs due to the 10 or more percentage of the liver becoming fatty tissue. Early detection can make treatment easier. If left uncorrected, can lead to Cirrhosis.
2) Liver Cancer (Hepatocellular carcinoma) - Diabetes, alcohol consumption and hepatitis are major risk factors of liver cancer. Diagnoses is made through biopsy, blood test and other investigations. Treatment options include surgery and liver transplant.
3) Liver Failure - The condition in which large sections of the liver stop functioning. Causes include hepatitis B and C, Cirrhosis and long-term alcohol consumption. Symptoms include swollen abdomen, easy bleeding, fatigue, jaundice etc..
Pancreatic diseases
1) Pancreatitis - The condition in which the pancreases have suffered extensive damage due to risk factors liver alcohol consumption and smoking. Symptoms include bloating, diarrhoea, nausea etc..
2) Pancreatic Tumor - Cancer of the pancreases that result in reduced digestion, unregulated blood sugar levels. The symptoms include weight loss, fatigue, lump in abdomen, white stools. Treatment include surgery, radition and chemotherapy.
3) Pancreatic Trauma - The condition which occurs due to injury to the pancreas. The condition is hard to diagnose and severe injuries require careful treatment.
Gastro-Intestinal tract
1)GERD:GERD, also known as acid reflux, is a chronic digestive disease. Some of the symptoms are taste of acid in the back of the mouth, heartburn, bad breath, chest pain, vomiting, and breathing problems. It can be relieved through diet and lifestyle changes; however, some people may require medication or surgery.
2)PEPTIC ULCER:Peptic ulcers are sores that develop in the lining of the stomach, lower esophagus, or small intestine. The most common symptom is burning abdominal pain that extends from the navel to the chest. It it it left untreated, it may become worse over time and lead to other serious health complications, like- Perforation, Internal bleeding, Scar tissue etc.
3)CHRONIC DIARRHEA: Chronic diarrhea is disease when one gets loose stools that last for at least four weeks. It usually happens three or more loose stools per day. There are many possible causes of chronic diarrhea. Patients are treated with the aim of correcting the cause of diarrhea (whenever possible), firming up loose stools, and dealing with any complications of diarrhea.
