Vikram Hospital & Heart Centre instituted Dr. S. Narayana Setty Memorial Charitable Foundation with the objective of making expensive interventional treatment like bypass surgery and angioplasty affordable to the genuinely poor of our society.

The Foundation has been incorporated by the family members - Dr. S. Bhaskar, Dr. S.N. Rajeshwar and Dr. S.B. Vikram - in memory of the founder of their institution, Dr. Narayana Setty, who is a household name for his innumerable charitable work in the field of heart care.

The fund collected in this Charitable Trust will be used to subsidize the cost of treatment like Coronary Angiogram, Angioplasty and Bypass surgery treatment for the poor and needy. A panel of eminent citizens from Mysore will assess the need of amount of subsidy, which should be offered to patients on case to case basis.

Donors wishing to join hands with the foundation in this act of charity are requested to contact the Hospital. Those patients who are poor and require financial assistance to be provided through this Charitable Trust are requested to enter their name and other relevant details in the registry at the Hospital.
