Mysore's only facility of this kind, we offer most of the diagnostic modalities under one roof. Our department is equipped with world-class equipment from Siemens, many of them first time in India.

To provide world-class facilities, Vikram Hospital has procured the “Sensation Cardiac”, which is the world's best high-speed CT Scanner. It is installed only in a few places worldwide and is the first in Southern India. This very high-end CT Scanner captures multiple (images)/second in three dimension and real motion. Hence we can image the heart in live motion and in three dimension capturing details up to every millimetre.

Here, high quality control standards are adhered to, with the help of high-end equipment like fully automated Biochemical Analysers, Electrochemiluminiscence for hormone analysis and Elisa techniques. • The Pathology laboratory is equipped with Automated Cell Counter, Random Access Biochemistry Analyser,
• Blood Gas Analyser and Electrochemiluminiscence system from Roche diagnostics
• The Elcsys 1010 is used for hormone assays, tumour marker studies and cardiac markers with its sensitivity and specificity being comparable to RIA
• At the lab, we run quality control sera from Roche diagnostics for all parameters, with regular statistical analyses and calibration in case of calibration drift
• All our analysers are interfaced with computers in order to nullify chances of typographical errors. Reports are made available on the net or faxed to the patient or the consulting doctor
• For the first time in Mysore, Immunohistochemistry (a special staining technique to diagnose cancer) is being done at our laboratories
